A solo and chamber artist in classical music, percussionist Robert Rocheteau is known for his vibrant and refined interpretations. Robert is an ardent advocate for the classical solo percussion artform. He performs the masterpieces of the 21st and 20th centuries and collaborates with today’s esteemed composers to create new music. Recent highlights include performances at the International Festival of Arts and Ideas, the Sound Scene Festival at the Hirschorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, and multiple performances at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Ensemble-In-Residence at Yale University

In collaboration with Jeffrey Douma and the Yale Choral Artists, The Victory Players were in Residence at Yale University during June 2025 for the performance of Armando Bayolo’s new work: Cancionero de Luto (Mourning Songbook).
